Helena Regional Airport

Helena Regional Airport serves the Helena area and much of southwestern Montana. The airport lies within the city limits just east of the Interstate 15 Cedar Street exit. Delta, Skywest, and Horizon Air provide scheduled jet service. Big Sky Airlines provides regional service from Helena to other Montana cities. United Airlines plans to begin service to Helena Regional Airport beginning June 5, 2008. Available terminal services include a travel agency, car rental agency, also a restaurant and lounge. Short-term and long-term parking is located adjacent to the terminal building, offering the lowest parking rates in the northwest. Also there are two modem jacks available to the public. General aviation services available are an aircraft maintenance and repair shop, full service and self-fueling center, charter operation, a flying club, and flying instruction. The Helena Airport is also home to the Helena National Forest Supervisor's Office, Immigrations and Naturalization Service, the Federal Aviation Administration Flight Standards Office and the Airport District Offices. The Montana Army National Guard has moved to the airport. They recently constructed a new armory and aviation support facility on the north side of the field. The Rocky Mountain Emergency Services Training Center (RMESTC) which represents the most realistic aircraft fire training available in the world today, is also located at the airport.
